Nokia X6 Gets Firmware v 21.2.005

Nokia has released a firmware update to Nokia X6 bumping up the firmware version to v21.2.005.The Change log includes:

• new version of Nokia Messaging
• Improved camera performance
• updates to Browser, camera and Shazam
• ability to SIM lock feature when national roaming mode is activated

You can either update the firmware with Nokia Software Updater (NSU) or using Over the Air (OTA).

To check if the update is available for your device type in *#0000# on the home screen or go to Device Manager. Select Options -> Check for updates and follow the on-screen instructions.

However its highly advised that you backup the data of your phone before updating the firmware of the device.
