The famous SamFirmware via a tweet announced the imminent arrival of Android 4.0.1 Official Ice Cream Sandwich for the Nexus S, the second Googlephonino par excellence.
The source code of the new Android 4.0 ICS was released a few days ago, and as was expected, came the first custom ROM AOSP. Many were the devices that have at least glimpsed the boot of Android 4.0: for now because the creation of fully functional firmware is quite complex, and some models will have to wait for official updates issued by the manufacturers.
The first to receive Android 4.0 will be officially in the Nexus S, as announced by Samfirmware via Twitter.
Nexus S so it would be ready to receive the update to the official Ice Cream Sandwich, and in uprightness of arrival in the coming days, probably by the end of this week. In the event it is certain that will be available before Christmas.
It is not clear whether it will be released through OTA channels, but it would be very plausible the hypothesis of an Over-The-Air update.
