Google has announced a few hours ago started release of Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4 for Samsung Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi (American model).
The update will take place as usual over the air, you just need to check daily the availability of the 4.0.4 ICS.
This new version brings many improvements, including :
- Enhanced stability
- Improved performance of the camera
- Screen rotation faster
- Search for contacts faster
- Bugfix
The announcement is made directly from the house on its official Google Profile +.
We’ve started rolling out Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich, to UMTS / GSM Nexus S, Xoom Wi-Fi, and HSPA + Galaxy Nexus devices, and we’ll be rolling it out to blackberries devices in the coming weeks. Some of you will be receiving Ice Cream Sandwich for the first time, while others will be receiving an update to your existing Ice Cream Sandwich experience with stability improvements, better camera performance, smoother screen rotation, improved phone number recognition and more.
